Social Media & Marketing Assistant
1. About the role
This role offers a junior creative based in Barcelona the opportunity to actively contribute to the growth and voice of a creative, design-led brand. As Social Media Assistant, you will support the evolution of TARTA GELATINA’s content universe, working closely with the marketing lead, the founders, and collaborating with external creatives.
You will have autonomy in your day-to-day work, varied projects, and the space to bring ideas that help shape how the brand is expressed online. We are looking for a creative, proactive, and highly organized profile with strong aesthetic sensitivity and a genuine passion for interiors, home decor, fashion and design culture.
Your challenge will be to help maintain a fresh, coherent, and emotionally engaging communication across social platforms, always aligned with brand values and performance goals.
2. Requirements
Skills
• Excellent level of Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Solid understanding of brand communication and social media.
• Natural creativity with strong aesthetic sensitivity and strategic thinking.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage short- and long-term goals efficiently.
Technical Knowledge
• Content creation experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and CapCut is a plus.
3. Main responsibilities
Social Media, Community & Content
• Manage day-to-day social media activity, including posting, scheduling, and publishing content across platforms (Instagram & TikTok).
• Handle community management: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions, fostering an active, positive, and engaged community.
• Coordinate freelance content creators
• Assist in content creation, from ideation to basic shooting and editing support when needed.
• Help maintain a consistent, authentic, and visually strong online presence aligned with the brand’s tone and aesthetic.
UGC & Influencer Marketing
• Manage UGC and influencer collaborations from start to finish.
• Identify relevant creators and influencers aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and values.
• Coordinate gifting, content briefs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track results and gather insights to improve future collaborations.
Content Strategy Support
• Support campaign ideation for launches and campaigns (concepts, moodboards, storytelling)
• Assist in maintaining a monthly content and communication calendar
Performance & Analysis
• Help monitor social media and content performance
• Support reporting and analysis, extracting insights to optimize content and formats
4. What We Value
• Experience in social media, marketing, communication for lifestyle, design, fashion, or home brands is a plus.
• Strong interest in interior design, home decor, fashion, sustainability, and contemporary aesthetics.
• Experience working in small teams or growing brands.
• Experience in e-commerce environments is a plus.
• A hands-on mindset and curiosity to get involved in different areas

Contract: Part-time contract or freelancer
